What is a Project in Custojo?

A project in Custojo is a container for organizing related tasks, files, discussions, and other work items. Projects can represent:

Each project has its own dashboard, task list, file storage, and collaboration tools.

Creating a New Project

Navigate to Projects

Click on "Projects" in the main navigation sidebar, then click the "+ New Project" button in the top-right corner.

Enter Project Details

Fill in the following information:

  • Project Name: A clear, descriptive name
  • Client: Select an existing client or create a new one
  • Start Date: When the project begins
  • Due Date: When the project should be completed
  • Description: A brief overview of the project goals and scope
  • Project Manager: The team member responsible for overseeing the project

Configure Project Settings

Choose additional settings:

  • Project Type: Select from templates like "Web Development," "Design," "Consulting," etc.
  • Billing Method: Choose between hourly, fixed price, or retainer
  • Budget: Set financial parameters for the project
  • Team Members: Add people who will work on the project
  • Tags: Add labels to categorize and filter projects

Create Project

Click "Create Project" to finalize. You'll be redirected to the new project dashboard.
