Managing your Custojo account settings allows you to customize your experience, maintain security, and configure important preferences. This guide covers all aspects of account management.
Personalize Your Experience
Your account settings determine how you interact with Custojo. From profile information to security preferences, these settings help you tailor the platform to your specific needs and ensure your data remains secure.
Creating an Account
Registration Process
Registering for Custojo is quick and easy. Follow these steps to create your account and get started:
Open the Registration Page
Visit the registration page. Make sure you bookmark the registration page for easy access in the future.
Fill in Your Details
- • Name: Enter your full name in the "Name" field.
- • Workspace Name: Choose a unique name for your workspace. This will help you organize your business functions.
- • Email: Provide a valid email address that you will use to log in to your account.
- • Password: Create a strong password for your account. Make sure it is something you can remember but hard for others to guess.
- • Confirm Password: Re-enter the same password to confirm it.
Complete the Registration
Click the "Register" button to submit your information. You will receive a confirmation email if verification is required.
Verify Your Email
When you receive a verification email, open it and click the verification link to activate your account.
Login to Your New Account
Go to the login page and enter your registered email and password to access your new account.
Password Tip: Ensure your password is at least 8 characters long, includes a mix of letters and numbers, and uses a special character.
Navigating the Dashboard
Dashboard Overview
Upon logging into Custojo, you'll be directed to the dashboard, your central hub for overseeing your organization's activities. Here's a breakdown of its key components:
Total Projects
This section displays the total number of projects currently active or in progress within your organization.
Total Tasks
Here, you can see the total number of tasks assigned and being worked on across all projects.
Total Bugs
This figure represents the total count of reported and unresolved bugs within your projects.
Total Users
The dashboard provides an overview of the total number of users registered in the system.

Tasks Overview
Graphical representation of task distribution, completion rates, and ongoing work.
Task List
Detailed list of tasks, including their status, priority, deadlines, and assigned team members.
Project Status
Track the current status of each project, whether they are in the planning phase, development, testing, or completion.
Navigation Elements
User Profile
Clicking on your username (e.g., John Doe) allows you to view your profile or log out.
Create Workspace
You can create new workspaces for different departments or companies.
Language Settings
Change the language at the top right to suit your preference.
Notifications
Access chat notifications to stay updated on project activities and communications.
Profile Settings
Personal Information
Update your basic profile information:

Edit the following fields:
- • Full Name: Your display name in the system
- • Email Address: Your primary contact email
- • Phone Number: Your contact phone (optional)
- • Job Title: Your position or role
- • Department: Your team or department (optional)
- • Time Zone: Your local time zone for accurate scheduling
- • Date Format: Your preferred date display format
- • Time Format: 12-hour or 24-hour time display

Click "Save Changes" to update your profile
Profile Picture
Add or update your profile picture:

Click on the profile picture area

Choose one of the following options:
- • Upload Photo: Select an image file from your device
- • Take Photo: Use your webcam to take a new photo
- • Remove Photo: Delete your current profile picture

Crop and adjust the image as needed

Click "Save" to update your profile picture
Managing Your Subscription
Subscription Management
Managing your subscription in Custojo is straightforward and allows you to tailor your CRM plan to fit your business needs.
Custojo offers pre-packaged subscriptions for users who prefer predefined plans:
Select Pre-Packaged Subscription
On the Subscription Settings page, click on Pre-Packaged Subscription page.
Choose Monthly or Yearly Plan
Toggle between Monthly and Yearly options to see the pricing.
Subscribe or Start Free Trial
Review the features of each plan and select the one that fits your needs. Click Subscribe or Start Free Trial at the bottom of your chosen plan.
Note: Upgrading your plan takes effect immediately, giving you access to new features without delay.
Resetting Your Password
From the Login Page
If you've forgotten your password, follow these steps:

Click on "Forgot Your Password?" link

Enter your registered email address to receive a password reset link

Check your email and follow the instructions to reset your password
Tip: Make sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don't see the email in your inbox.
From Inside the App
To change your password when already logged in:

Login to your Custojo account with your current credentials

Click on your name in the top right corner and select Profile

Find the Change Password section

Enter your current password, then your new password twice for confirmation

Click Save Changes to update your password
Tips for a Strong Password
- • Use a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters
- • Avoid using easily guessable information like birthdays
- • Change your password regularly to maintain account security
Deleting Your Account
Account Deletion Warning
Deleting your account will permanently remove your data from our system and cannot be retrieved.
Steps to Delete Your Account

Contact Support: Submit a ticket or email us at support@custojo.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"

Confirmation Process: Our support team will verify your request and may ask for additional information to confirm your identity
Alternative Options
- Downgrading to a Free Account: You can downgrade your account to a free plan instead of deleting it
- Canceling Your Subscription: If you simply want to cancel your subscription but keep your account, follow the steps in the Canceling Your Subscription section above
